Cordelia A. Greene Library has been selected by the American Library Association to participate in their “Great Stories Club.” The theme of the club will be “Deeper Than Our Skins” and will feature 4 books that “explore questions of race, equity, identity and history.”
Participating teens will attend a monthly meeting for 8 months to discuss and explore the themes of the books they’ve been given. (Yes, they get to keep the books!) These teenagers will also be able to bring the ideas of these books to the community, however they as a group chose to do so. As if this isn’t good enough already, we will also have food. (We hear teens love that! 🍕)
If you or a teen you know is interested, please have them fill out the application here.
